This Privacy Policy explains how "RogerThat" ("we," "our," or "the App") handles your information. We respect your privacy and are committed to collecting the absolute minimum amount of data necessary to provide our services.
1. Data Collection and Usage
We do not collect personal identifiers such as your name, email address, or phone number. We do not require you to create an account.
To function, the App processes the following technical data:
Device Identifier: We generate a unique, anonymous identifier stored on your device (via Keychain) to track your Credit balance, XP, and subscription status. This allows you to maintain your progress without logging in.
Audio Data: The App uses your device’s microphone to capture your voice. This audio data is sent to Apple’s Speech Recognition servers to convert your speech to text. It is not stored by us.
Text Transcripts: The text converted from your speech is sent to our AI provider (Google Firebase/Vertex AI) to generate a response and score your performance. These transcripts are processed ephemerally and are not used to train the AI models.
2. Third-Party Services
We utilize the following third-party services which may process data according to their own privacy policies: Google Firebase: For backend infrastructure, AI processing, and security (App Check). Apple StoreKit: For processing In-App Purchases. We do not have access to your credit card information.
3. Data Retention
We retain only the anonymous Device Identifier and your current balance/progress on our servers. We do not store recordings of your voice.
4. Your Consent
By using RogerThat, you consent to the processing of your voice data for the sole purpose of providing immediate feedback within the simulation.
